Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and scalability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and AI
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communication systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years experience designing quantum circuits or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of leading technical projects to completion
