Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for practical deployment
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography and simulation use cases
- Partner with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years building quantum systems or high-performance computing architectures
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Strong background in superconducting or ion-trap quantum platforms
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical solutions
