Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with security teams to build quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish technical standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and measurement-based quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel programming
- Published research in quantum information science or related fields
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
