Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Conduct performance modeling and quantum error correction analysis
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Develop quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for next-gen security systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-level executives and government agencies
- Research emerging quantum phenomena for practical commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum circuit simulation and optimization frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex systems, and statistical mechanics
- Experience securing government contracts for quantum technology projects
- Track record of translating quantum theory into practical commercial solutions
