Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological, etc.)
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for specific industry use cases
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum-classical interfaces
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and investors
- Stay ahead of quantum security implications and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced algorithm design
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks and hardware interfaces
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong background in cryptography or machine learning preferred
- Published patents in quantum technology highly desirable
