Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead quantum security protocols for blockchain and cryptography
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum simulation projects
- Optimize qubit coherence times in cryogenic environments
- Document quantum algorithm architectures for patent applications
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes)
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
