Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and molecular simulation
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems with 10,000+ qubit capacity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead quantum software development teams using Q#, Python, and specialized SDKs
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through strategic partnerships with DOE and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Experience securing government research grants
