Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for industrial applications
- Develop quantum error correction algorithms achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in building quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate cryogenic control systems
- Author patents and publish in Nature Physics/Science
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and information theory
- Ability to work with cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
