Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to maintain quantum coherence in large-scale systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and hardware-software integration
- Research and prototype novel quantum computing approaches for specific industry challenges
- Collaborate with security teams to develop quantum-resistant encryption frameworks
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and external partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and classical integration frameworks
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware platforms
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business strategies
