Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with physicists to calibrate quantum annealing systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning pipelines
- Document quantum circuit architectures and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS + 5 years experience)
- Proficiency in Q#, Cirq, or Qiskit quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
