Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish 4+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Collaborate with IBM, Google, and Microsoft quantum divisions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design experience
- Published work in Nature or Science journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Proven track record securing federal research funding
- Deep understanding of Shor's and Grover's algorithms
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Experience leading international research consortia
