Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm frameworks for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum theory into scalable solutions
- Secure $2M+ in R&D funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum supremacy projects
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols for client infrastructure
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or Theoretical Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with published papers
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing government research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction methodologies
- Experience leading teams in high-stakes R&D environments
- Strong background in cryptography and information theory
