Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead error-correction protocol development for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-ML hybrid models
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF/DoD proposals
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum commercialization
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Experience mentoring cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
