Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications in cryptography and materials science
- Design and execute fault-tolerant quantum computing experiments using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical roadmap alignment
- Secure government and private R&D funding for quantum initiatives
- Establish partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and information theory
- Experience managing high-performance computing resources
- Track record of securing research grants or industry funding
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
