Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes in cryogenic environments

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum research into commercial applications
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proven track record of published research in quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with cryogenic quantum system operation and calibration
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
- Excellent communication abilities for technical and non-technical audiences
