Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography optimization
- Design and execute quantum circuit simulations at scale
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability improvements
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through NSF/DoD proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm implementation experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction
- Expertise in topological quantum computing
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Track record of securing federal research grants
