Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with cutting-edge systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum-optimized machine learning models
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences
- Secure and manage quantum computing infrastructure with zero-trust architecture
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for quantum error correction
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record of published quantum computing research
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
