Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in machine learning and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing computational frameworks
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using advanced hardware platforms
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Develop quantum software tools and libraries to accelerate research adoption
- Mentor junior researchers and interns in quantum methodologies
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and propose innovative research directions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
