Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-corrected quantum architectures targeting 2026 computational milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid system integration
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $1M+ in federal and industry research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit design
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Demonstrated success in securing NSF/DOE research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning principles
