Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Develop error correction protocols for practical quantum computing deployment
- Partner with industry leaders to commercialize quantum applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Mentor PhD candidates and interns in quantum computing methodologies
- Secure federal and private research funding through grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
