Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using IBM/Google hardware
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into neural networks
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NASA research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum error correction techniques
- Publish 2+ high-impact papers annually on quantum cryptography
- Develop patentable quantum hardware-software interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum annealing frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science/IEEE on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
