Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experiments on superconducting quantum processors to achieve error correction milestones
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in leading journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop patentable quantum hardware-software interfaces for commercial deployment
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Expertise in quantum simulation frameworks and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware or superconducting qubits preferred
- Track record of translating theoretical models into experimental implementations
