Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct experimental research on qubit coherence and error correction protocols
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for complex molecular modeling
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate quantum processor architectures
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and information theory
- Experience with cryogenic systems or superconducting qubit manipulation
- Demonstrated track record of publications in top-tier journals
- Ability to secure government or corporate research funding
