Our team is building the next generation of quantum processors capable of solving previously intractable problems in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization. You'll lead experimental research while mentoring PhD candidates and publishing breakthrough findings in Nature and Science.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead interdisciplinary projects with AI and materials science teams
- Author patents and peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals
- Manage quantum hardware testing and optimization cycles
- Present research findings at international conferences (APS March Meeting, QIP)
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in quantum information science (5+ papers)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
- Track record of securing research grants (NSF, DoE, DARPA preferred)
