We seek a visionary Quantum Computing Research Scientist to develop next-gen algorithms and hardware architectures that will redefine computational boundaries. In this role, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry pioneers in our state-of-the-art Austin facility, driving breakthroughs in cryptography, materials science, and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead research into topological qubit stability and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Develop commercialization pathways for quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems
- Proven ability to secure government research funding
- Patent portfolio with at least 3 quantum computing patents
- Experience leading cross-functional research teams
