Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Design and implement quantum simulations for complex molecular systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar government and industry grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Translate theoretical innovations into practical quantum computing applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Demonstrated success in securing research funding from NSF, DoD, or DARPA
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
