Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and quantum gate fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processors and hybrid classical-quantum systems
- Lead research initiatives targeting quantum advantage in real-world industry scenarios
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum computing platforms
