Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors with 100+ qubits
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Quantum and top-tier conferences
- Develop quantum SDKs for enterprise clients in finance and pharmaceuticals
- Mentor postdocs and interns in quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NIST grants for quantum security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2025 graduates encouraged)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with real hardware
- Published papers in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compiler design
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (Azure Quantum, AWS Braket)
