Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance qubit coherence and fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum computing solutions
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum software with next-generation processors
- Identify commercial applications for quantum technologies in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
