Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and material science simulations
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into physical implementations
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants for experimental validation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing architectures
- Demonstrated experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong background in information theory and complexity analysis
