Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum machine learning models
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Prototype quantum error correction techniques using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve quantum gate fidelity
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit simulation (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong programming skills in Python/C++ with HPC optimization
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Rigetti/Google)
