Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with 10,000+ qubit capacity
- Develop cryogenic control systems operating at 20mK temperatures
- Architect quantum-classical hybrid computing interfaces
- Create fault-tolerant quantum error correction frameworks
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into HPC environments
- Establish quantum security protocols for 2026-era communications
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams in quantum systems engineering
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum or superconducting computing systems
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control electronics
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with large-scale HPC infrastructure design
- Certification in quantum security protocols (QKD, QKD-NET)
- Portfolio of quantum system implementations or research papers
