Job Description
Are you ready to engineer the infrastructure of tomorrow? OmniStream Systems is seeking a visionary Quantum Network Engineer to lead our efforts in preparing for the technological landscape of 2026. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between classical networking and the emerging quantum computing era, ensuring our clients remain secure and competitive in a post-silicon world.
We are not just building networks; we are architecting the future of connectivity. If you are passionate about cutting-edge technology, cryptography, and the scalability of distributed systems, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid classical-quantum network architectures tailored for 2026 enterprise standards.
- Oversee the deployment of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) protocols to secure sensitive data against future quantum threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to integrate quantum key distribution (QKD) into existing fiber optic infrastructures.
- Conduct rigorous stress testing and simulation of network resilience under quantum computing workloads.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on advanced networking concepts.
- Develop whitepapers and technical strategies for future-proofing client networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in network engineering, cybersecurity, or systems architecture.
- Deep understanding of cryptographic principles and post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC candidates).
- Familiarity with quantum computing concepts, quantum annealing, or superconducting qubit architectures.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or C++.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time.
