Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D animations using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and CSS3.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate static concepts into fluid, dynamic motion.
- Optimize animation rendering loops for 60fps performance across all devices and browsers.
- Build and maintain reusable animation libraries and internal tools for the engineering team.
- Debug complex rendering issues, memory leaks, and cross-browser compatibility challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on animation best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a specific focus on motion and animation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of the RequestAnimationFrame API, CSS Transitions, and CSS Transforms.
- Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP (GreenSock), Anime.js, or Pixi.js.
- Portfolio demonstrating complex 2D motion work and performance optimization.
- Experience with WebGL and 2D/3D rendering engines is a plus.
