The Role:
You will be the technical lead for all 2D animation projects, pushing the boundaries of what is possible on the web. You will translate creative concepts into high-performance code, ensuring that every interaction feels smooth, responsive, and delightful.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D animations using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility for complex graphical assets.
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, interactive 2D interfaces.
- Build reusable animation libraries and components to streamline the development process.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex 2D graphics issues to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Stay abreast of emerging web animation trends and technologies to maintain our competitive edge.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development or animation engineering.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern CSS frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Portfolio demonstrating complex 2D motion work and interactive web projects.
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques for high-frequency rendering.
