Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the strategic roadmap for AI infrastructure, identifying emerging technologies and frameworks that will dominate the industry by 2026.
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant machine learning systems capable of handling massive data streams and real-time inference.
- Model Optimization: Oversee the deployment, fine-tuning, and optimization of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI agents.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Code Quality & Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and performance across the AI engineering department.
- Talent Development: Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- System Design: Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and high-performance computing.
- Future-Proofing: Demonstrated ability to research and evaluate new technologies to prepare for upcoming industry shifts (e.g., Quantum Computing, Edge AI).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
