Responsibilities
- Lead Architectural Vision: Define the technical roadmap and architectural blueprints for Horizon 2026βs core AI systems, specifically targeting 2026 milestones.
- Model Deployment: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from research and training to deployment and optimization at scale.
- System Design: Design robust, fault-tolerant, and high-performance distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into core product offerings.
- Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, NLP, and Computer Vision to implement cutting-edge methodologies.
- Talent Development: Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Ethical AI Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to strict ethical guidelines, safety protocols, and data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA).
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field from a top-tier institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically in AI/ML architecture and system design.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; experience with distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Apache Spark).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams and driving technical strategy from conception to execution.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems and deliver innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
