Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design and implement state-of-the-art deep learning architectures, specifically focusing on Transformers and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Optimization: Optimize existing models for inference speed and memory efficiency to ensure seamless production deployment.
- Research & Innovation: Conduct cutting-edge research to explore new techniques in NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Collaboration: Partner with software engineering teams to integrate AI models into robust, scalable applications.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Deployment: Manage the full lifecycle of ML models, including MLOps pipelines, versioning, and monitoring.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation and white papers to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on Natural Language Processing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex mathematical and algorithmic challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for diverse audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, SageMaker).
