Responsibilities
- Lead Research Initiatives: Spearhead the development of novel neural network architectures aimed at achieving AGI milestones by 2026.
- Prototype Development: Build and validate complex models using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow in a high-performance computing environment.
- Scientific Publishing: Author and present high-impact research papers at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) to establish Apex Horizon as an industry leader.
- Strategic Mentorship: Mentor junior data scientists and PhD researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to translate theoretical research into scalable, production-ready AI products.
- Roadmap Planning: Contribute to the long-term strategic roadmap, ensuring our technical milestones align with the 2026 vision.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience or 7 years of post-PhD research experience in Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and GPU programming (CUDA). Strong understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Publications: A demonstrated track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and attending top-tier AI conferences.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle unstructured, open-ended research problems with creative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
