Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for federal projects, including requirement elicitation, documentation, and validation
- Develop detailed process flows, data models, and functional specifications using industry-standard tools
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and translate complex business needs into technical requirements
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure solution alignment with business objectives
- Manage requirements traceability and maintain comprehensive documentation in JIRA/Confluence
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations and reports
- Support UAT and implementation phases to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in government or regulated industry
- Expertise in requirements methodologies (BPMN, UML, user stories) and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio)
- Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries and analyze large datasets
- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and iterative development processes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget constraints
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile) strongly preferred
