Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes and requirements using data modeling, workflow diagrams, and user stories
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable technical specifications for development teams
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather requirements across diverse departments
- Create detailed documentation including BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with data scientists to validate insights and ensure data integrity
- Implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Present findings to executive leadership with compelling visualizations and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in government or consulting
- Expertise in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI), and process mapping
- Proficiency in agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and JIRA/Confluence
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent preferred
