Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee the complete IT and technological infrastructure for designated World Cup 2026 venues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including broadcast operations, security, and event management, to ensure seamless technology integration.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and connectivity services.
- Ensure robust, high-capacity Wi-Fi and cellular networks to support thousands of concurrent users and media personnel.
- Lead the deployment of fan-facing technologies, including mobile apps, digital ticketing, and interactive stadium displays.
- Develop and execute comprehensive disaster recovery and contingency plans for all critical tech systems.
- Manage a diverse team of IT professionals, contractors, and on-site technicians.
- Monitor system performance in real-time during events, providing immediate troubleshooting and resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years specifically in large-scale event technology.
- Proven experience managing massive network infrastructures and high-density Wi-Fi deployments.
- Strong understanding of broadcast technology, AV systems, and digital signage.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing technical teams.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-stress, live-event environments.
- Excellent vendor management and budgeting skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays leading up to and during the event.
