Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Tech Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for Project 2026, evaluating emerging technologies to ensure our stack remains future-proof.
- Code Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance to handle projected growth by 2026.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend architecture.
- Language Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with familiarity in JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend integration.
- Cloud Mastery: Deep understanding of AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including serverless architectures and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Database Skills: Experience with distributed databases (Cassandra, CockroachDB) and SQL optimization.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and implement robust error handling and resilience patterns.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
