Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision strategy through scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with AI, biotech, and quantum computing teams
- Produce annual FutureTech Impact Reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused entities
- Mentor junior futurists and curate the Nexus Innovation Fellowship program
- Represent Nexus at Davos, Web Summit, and exclusive industry roundtables
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published work on exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven experience translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (neurotech, climate tech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to influence C-suite decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year technology predictions
- Fluency in futures methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis, etc.)
