Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports, scenario plans, and innovation roadmaps
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder dialogues on future implications
- Partner with R&D teams to validate emerging technologies and accelerate prototyping
- Establish quantitative forecasting models combining data analytics with qualitative trend analysis
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong background in AI, quantum computing, or biotechnology convergence
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future strategy implementations
