Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic trends, and disruptive forces relevant to 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight reports to executive leadership and board members
- Design scenario-planning frameworks to quantify risks and opportunities for 5-year strategic planning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future-vision concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Establish cross-functional innovation incubators to prototype solutions for 2026 market needs
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry symposia
- Mentor junior futurists and build a dedicated foresight analytics team
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of developing actionable long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and quantitative forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning software)
