Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) and synthesize 2026+ strategic foresight reports
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Develop predictive models using proprietary Horizon Analytics Platform and third-party datasets
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry standards for ethical foresight practices
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify emerging startups for strategic investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in corporate futurism, strategic planning, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in systems thinking, trend analysis, and scenario modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published work in foresight journals or industry thought leadership platforms
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Hawaii Research Center for Futures Studies)
