- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business resilience
- Champion innovation workshops and hackathons to cultivate future-ready solutions
- Present future outlook reports to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Partner with R&D to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) into product roadmaps
- Establish global thought leadership through published research and industry speaking
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adaptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM preferred)
- Portfolio of published future outlook research or strategic foresight projects
