Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and disruptive business models through 2030
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership, translating complex trends into actionable roadmaps
- Architect innovation pipelines that align with long-term organizational vision and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking across product development and marketing
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-shaping authority
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and integrate emerging startups into our ecosystem
- Maintain proprietary trend database and predictive analytics models for strategic decision support
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies that drive measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences and board members
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or executed innovation initiatives
