Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year scenario planning and horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive trends through 2026
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with technological convergence and societal shifts
- Partner with product teams to translate foresight insights into market-ready solutions
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design and deliver strategic foresight workshops for executive stakeholders
- Quantify future market opportunities using predictive modeling and data analytics
- Author high-impact thought leadership positioning Horizon as a future-shaping authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of delivering future-oriented strategies with measurable impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and emerging technology assessment
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Published author in foresight or innovation journals/conferences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
